
National Clear the Shelters Month is an annual pet adoption campaign held every August, aimed at finding loving homes for animals in need and raising awareness for animal shelters.

- Since its inception in 2015, Clear the Shelters has successfully facilitated the adoption of nearly 1.3 million pets and raised over $5.6 million for participating shelters.

Central Texas Animal Hospital would like to highlight our local animal shelter, Pflugerville Animal Welfare Services (PAWS), with whom we partner in helping stray and unwanted animals, adoptions, fostering, and volunteering. The animal shelter is open to the public on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11 am to 5 pm (closed on Wednesdays), and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 pm.
